In short

Entil stores your training so you can follow your progress and share it with friends. We never sell your data, show no ads and don't track you across apps. You can download or delete everything at any time in the app.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Løver Technologies v/ Tobias Løver (org.nr. 936 537 758), Jernbanegata 2, 3044 Drammen. Privacy questions: kontakt@entilworkout.com.

What we store

• Account: email address, username, name, profile photo and bio. • Training: workouts, exercises, sets, weight, reps, RPE, notes, routines, planned workouts and goals. • Body and health (only what you enter yourself): bodyweight, height, date of birth, sex, sleep and readiness. • Social: who you follow, groups, challenges, likes, comments and photos you post. • Reports and blocks you make, and suggestions you send. • Subscription: which subscription you have, and when it starts, renews or ends. Payment is taken by Apple or Google – we never see your card details. • Emails you send us, and emails we send you (confirmation codes and password reset codes). • Technical: app version and platform (iOS/Android) when you send suggestions. If the app crashes, an error report is sent with technical information (phone model, iOS version, app version, what went wrong) and an anonymous user ID – not your name, email, IP address or training data. We use no analytics that track you. • Website: one cookie (“lang”) that only remembers which language you chose. No tracking, no ads and nothing from third parties.

Why, and on what basis

• To provide the app (contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): store and sync your training, show progress and social features. • Health data (bodyweight, height, sleep etc.) is processed only with your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)), which you give by entering it. You can delete it at any time. • Safety and abuse prevention (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)): reports, blocks and spam limits. • Fixing bugs (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)): crash reports with no personal data beyond an anonymous user ID, so we can fix errors.

Who can see what

With a public profile, all signed-in users can see the workouts you share. With a private profile, only followers you have approved can see them. Any workout can also be set to “Only me”. Your profile (username, name, photo, bio and counts) is visible to other signed-in users. In groups only totals are shared (workouts, volume, sets, heaviest lift) – never individual workouts. A workout’s note is shown to those who can see the workout. Bodyweight, height, date of birth, sleep/readiness and exercise notes are always private.

Where data is stored

First on your phone. When you are signed in, it is backed up with Supabase (servers in the EU), our data processor. The app is distributed by Apple and Google, and quick app updates are delivered by Expo; they do not receive your training data. Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat, which only receives an anonymous user ID and purchase information. Emails from the app (confirmation and password reset codes) are sent via Resend from servers in the EU, and emails you send us are stored with Webhuset in Norway. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Error reports are processed by Sentry on servers in the EU (Frankfurt) and deleted automatically after 90 days at the latest. If you sign in with Apple, we only receive your email address (or a hidden address from Apple) and your name if you choose to share it. Everyone who processes data on our behalf has a data processing agreement and must protect the data at least as well as we do. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without a valid transfer mechanism.

How long

For as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, everything is deleted immediately: profile, workouts, photos, comments, likes, routines, goals, suggestions, reports you have sent, your login and your purchase history at our subscription provider – and everything on your phone. Groups you created pass to another member, without you. Backups and technical logs at our processors are deleted automatically within 30 days. Reports others have sent about content you posted are deleted after 12 months at the latest. Emails you send us are deleted when the matter is closed, and after 12 months at the latest. Purchase receipts at Apple or Google are managed by them. A subscription is not cancelled when you delete your account – cancel it with Apple or Google.

Your rights

• Access and portability: Settings → Account → "Download my data". • Correction: edit everything directly in the app. • Deletion: Settings → Account → "Delete account". • Withdraw consent: delete health data in Settings → Profile and health. • You can complain to your data protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet) if you believe we process your data wrongly.

Children

Entil is for people aged 13 and over.
